BASIC stands for Beginners’ All purpose Symbolic Instruction Code which is one of the most popular high level language developed in the year 1964 at Darmouth College -United Stated of America by Prof. John Kemeny and Thomas Kurtz. It is simple programming language and it has its own editor. As it is high level language its code muse be converted into machine level language which is converted by a language translator i.e Interpreter.
